Professor KURT's primary research focuses on Chronobiology and Physical Performance, examining how biological rhythms affect athletic capabilities. His work also investigates the effects of different warm-up protocols on athletic performance and the efficacy of various regeneration methods for athletes. He has published extensively on plyometric training, stretching techniques, vibration training, and the physiological responses to different exercise modalities. His research often centers on combat sports athletes, soccer players, and other specialized athletic populations, with particular attention to how timing of exercise affects performance outcomes.
His recent publications demonstrate a strong focus on contemporary issues in sports science, including the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on athletes, sleep quality in sports performance, and advanced training techniques for various athletic populations. His work spans from basic physiological mechanisms to practical applications for coaches and athletes.
