Nayoung Kwon is an Associate Professor in the Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures at the University of Oregon, affiliated with the Schnitzer School of Global Studies and Languages. Her research focuses on neurolinguistics, psycholinguistics, and syntax, particularly how language systems interact with cognitive functions and grammatical variations map to processing. She employs ERP, eye-tracking, and self-paced reading methodologies for cross-linguistic parsing studies.

Her recent work explores honorific processing, pronoun resolution, and social hierarchy computation in Korean and Chinese.
