Navneet K. Popli

Dr. Navneet K. Popli is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Victoria. With over 20 years of experience, she focuses on teaching, mentoring, and research in areas such as distributive computing, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and smart cities. She is actively involved with IEEE and ISACA, contributing to educational initiatives and promoting diversity in technology.

Her research interests include Software Scalability, Intelligent Systems, Cyber Defence Mechanisms, and the cybersecurity of IoT systems. She emphasizes practical applications through industry collaboration, particularly in software development, machine learning, and cyber-physical systems.
