Navjot Kaur is a Researcher at Loughborough University's School of Design and Creative Arts and affiliated with the Leicester Real World Evidence Unit (LRWE). She holds a PhD in Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering (Loughborough University, 2012), an MEng in Computer Science and Engineering, and a BEng in Electronics and Communication Engineering from institutions in India.

Her research focuses on applying artificial intelligence and machine learning to healthcare challenges, particularly for patients with intellectual disabilities and multimorbidity. Current work involves designing AI-driven user interfaces for healthcare professionals to interpret clinical data and AI decisions in the NIHR-funded DECODE project.
In collaboration with Loughborough University and the University of Leicester, she contributed to securing DECODE's grant proposal (2016–present). Her industry experience includes projects with Ford Motor Company, Jaguar Land Rover, and the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC).
