Dr. Natisha Sands is an Associate Professor at Deakin University's School of Nursing and Midwifery, with over 30 years of experience as a mental health nurse. Her research program investigates mental health triage clinical practice, service delivery models, emergency department mental health care, competency assessment, consumer perspectives, and risk assessment frameworks.
