- PhD in Business Administration (Finance) from the University of Kentucky (2016)

Dr. Graham's scholarly work centers on financial intermediaries with particular emphasis on brokers and financial advisors, alongside empirical corporate finance research. He maintains strong methodological expertise in econometric and statistical techniques, having developed R programming tools for multi-way clustered standard errors. Though he previously created the "multiwayvcov" R package, he now recommends using the more robust "sandwich" package for statistical analysis.
His professional presence extends to GitHub (npgraham1) where he shares statistical code, and Reddit where he occasionally participates in /r/statistics, /r/finance, and /r/econometrics discussions. Outside academia, he pursues photography as a hobby with documented work from Yosemite, London, Cambridge, and various U.S. national parks and cities.
For correspondence, he uses nathaniel.graham@tamiu.edu for academic matters (requiring course names in subject lines) and npgraham1@npgraham1.com for non-university communications.
