Nathaniel M. Birgenheier serves as a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology, specializing in cardiac anesthesia and echocardiography for both intraoperative and outpatient care. Board-certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and the National Board of Echocardiography (Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography), he delivers anesthesia for cardiovascular/thoracic surgeries with advanced expertise in perioperative hemodynamic management.

His academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Arts in Neuroscience from The Colorado College and a Doctor of Medicine from Creighton University School of Medicine.
