Dr. Nathaniel Greene is a Lecturer in the School of Divinity, History, Philosophy & Art History at the University of Aberdeen. His research focuses on Northwest Semitic languages, epigraphy, and the socio-political context of ancient Near Eastern inscriptions, utilizing advanced imaging techniques like Reflectance Transformation Imaging for textual analysis.
Research Interests: Nathaniel specializes in ancient Semitic languages and epigraphy with emphasis on Palmyrene Aramaic inscriptions, biblical text formation, and Iron Age writing systems.
