Nathan E Goldstein is the Chair and Professor of Medicine and Professor of The Dartmouth Institute at the Geisel School of Medicine, Dartmouth College. He holds the Herman O. West Professorship in Geriatrics. His clinical and research focus includes palliative care delivery models for advanced illnesses, patient-physician communication in heart failure, and healthcare technologies for end-of-life care. He leads federally funded research through grants from the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), National Institute on Aging (NIA), and Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA).
