Professor Nathan Congdon is a leading academic in ophthalmology and public health at Queen's University Belfast's Centre for Public Health. His research focuses on preventing vision impairment in low-resource settings, particularly in LMICs, with emphasis on myopia prevention, cataract surgery outcomes, glaucoma, and diabetic eye disease.
