Nathalie Roseau is a Professor of Urban Planning at École des Ponts ParisTech and Director of the Techniques, Territories and Societies Laboratory (UMR CNRS 8134). She holds a doctorate and HDR in urban planning, complemented by training as an engineer (X-ENPC) and architect (DPLG). Her research focuses on metropolitan transformation dynamics, infrastructures' roles, and their temporal and representational impacts. She previously worked in urban planning for Île-de-France and Aéroports de Paris, leading architectural projects like Terminal 2F and Terminal 1 renovations.

- Co-founder and co-host of the Inventing Greater Paris interdisciplinary research program
- Former Visiting Professor at Politecnico di Milano (2009–2015)
- Directed the AMUR Master’s program (2005–2016)
- Co-directed the LATTS lab (2019–2022)
- Research Themes: Urban and regional planning, infrastructure history, mobile/urban cultures in the Anthropocene, and governance of large metropolises.
- Editorial Roles: Member of the editorial boards of Le Visiteur and Journal of Transport History.
Her habilitation (2019) explored infrastructures' roles in metropolitan expansion, while her PhD (2008) examined aeronautics' influence on urban futures. Current projects include interdisciplinary studies on aerial culture and metropolitan governance.
