Nathalie Gauthard is University Professor of Performing Arts at the University of Artois, France, and a leading ethnoscenologist specializing in Himalayan/Tibetan performance traditions and their global adaptations. She heads the Master's in Performing Arts and Live Performance, the Arts-Adapt(s) University Diploma, and co-leads the Praxis axis in aesthetics at the University of Artois. As founder of the French Society of Ethnoscenology (SOFETH) and director of the journal L'Ethnographie, she bridges academic research with international cultural preservation efforts.
