Nathalie Albert-Moretti serves as Professor of Public Law and Dean of the Faculty of Law, Economics and Social Sciences at the University of Tours, where she also co-directs the Master 2 "Juriste de droit public" program. Her institutional leadership spans academic administration and specialized legal education within the Department of Public Law and Political Science.
Her research concentrates on three core domains: General Administrative Law examining foundational state-citizen relationships; Administrative Liability Law analyzing state accountability mechanisms; and Health Law investigating medical-legal interfaces. This tripartite focus manifests in her examination of reasonableness standards, presumption of harm frameworks, and public-private liability interfaces across 16 major publications since 2003.
Recent scholarly output reveals evolving emphasis from traditional administrative structures toward contemporary challenges including privatization impacts, medical information duties, and loss-of-opportunity compensation methodologies. Her work consistently bridges doctrinal analysis with practical administrative applications through contributions to leading legal journals and edited volumes.
As academic leader, Professor Albert-Moretti oversees the Master 2 program in Public Law while maintaining active research supervision. Her administrative responsibilities include faculty governance and strategic development of legal education programs at the University of Tours.
