Nathalie Al-Zyoud

Nathalie Al-Zyoud is a part-time Lecturer at George Washington University, with prior teaching experience at Johns Hopkins University's School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), where she earned her Master of International Public Policy. She specializes in mediation, restorative justice, dialogue, and systems change, with over 20 years of international conflict engagement.

Her expertise includes addressing inter-ethnic, inter-religious, and agro-pastoral conflicts, as well as workplace and community tensions. She has led high-level diplomatic engagements in Chad (2005), built a peacebuilding platform in Burkina Faso (2014), and coached mediators in the Central African Republic (2015). Currently, she focuses on designing a just transition to a regenerative socio-economic system. She teaches courses on non-violent communication, systems transformation, mediation, and restorative justice.
