Nate Bickford is an Associate Professor and Department Chair in the Natural Science department at Oregon Tech. He has a strong background in biology and environmental science, with extensive fieldwork experience in ecology and conservation.

- PhD in Environmental Science from Arkansas State University
His research spans diverse ecological domains including raptor studies, fisheries, and wildlife movement analysis, with a focus on habitat improvement and sustainability. He combines interdisciplinary approaches to solve pressing environmental questions.
Bickford's work has taken him to remote locations across the Arctic, Europe, Caribbean Islands, Central and South America for STEM education initiatives and ecological research. His lab actively involves undergraduate and graduate students in impactful research projects.
