Natasha Vassileff

Dr. Natasha Vassileff is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Eccles Institute of Neuroscience, Australian National University (ANU). She works within the Clear Vision Research Group, focusing on neuroinflammation's role in neurodegenerative diseases. Her expertise includes miRNA sequencing, proteomics, and animal models of ALS.

Her research explores how extracellular vesicles (EVs) contribute to neurodegenerative disease propagation through altered protein and miRNA cargo. Current work involves identifying inflammation-induced modifications in proteins and their impact on disease progression. Publications highlight trends in miRNA biomarkers, EV cargo dynamics, and neuron-glia communication in ALS.

She collaborates with multidisciplinary teams at ANU's Research School of Chemistry and has contributed to 5 peer-reviewed publications since 2020, with a focus on ALS pathophysiology and EV-based diagnostics.
