Natasha Pestich

Natasha Pestich is a Professor at Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD), specializing in visual arts and community engagement. She holds a BFA from Concordia University (Montreal, Quebec) and an MFA in Printmaking from Tyler School of Art, Temple University (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania). With over a decade of full-time teaching experience in both Philadelphia and Minneapolis, her practice focuses on site-specific installations, works on paper, and community-driven art initiatives.

Her work has been exhibited in museums and alternative spaces across the United States, Canada, Rome, and Scotland. Pestich has received significant recognition, including two McKnight Arts Fellowships (Printmaking and Visual Arts), an Institute for Creative Community Leadership Fellowship, and multiple grants from the Minnesota State Arts Board and Metropolitan Regional Arts Council.

Recent highlights include her 2024 exhibition concluding her McKnight Fellowships and her 2023 award of the Mcknight Printmaking Fellowship. Her teaching and artistry emphasize interdisciplinary collaboration and community impact.
