Natascha Katharina Just

Natascha Katharina Just is a Professor of Media & Internet Governance and Chair of the Media and Internet Governance Division at the University of Zurich's Department of Communication and Media Research since 2019. Previously, she held roles including Associate Professor at Michigan State University (2017–2018) and Senior Research Associate at the University of Zurich (2008–2016). She earned an MA in Communication Science/Romance Philology and a Ph.D. in Communication Science from the University of Vienna.

Her research focuses on media policy, Internet governance, competition policy, and platform governance. She currently serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Communication, a landmark position as one of the first female Editors-in-Chief in its 75-year history.
