Natana J. Delong-Bas is a Professor of the Practice in the Theology Department at Boston College, affiliated with the Morrissey College of Arts and Sciences. Her research focuses on Islamic law, women and gender in Islam, comparative scripture (Bible and Qur’an), and Middle Eastern history. She holds a Ph.D. from Georgetown University and has authored influential works like Wahhabi Islam and Shariah: What Everyone Needs to Know.
