Natalya Pasichnyk

Natalya Pasichnyk is an affiliated researcher at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, specializing in musical expression and performance practice. She holds dual PhDs in artistic research, focusing on piano performance and reinterpretations of classical works. Her research integrates vocal motif analysis with instrumental performance, particularly in works by JS Bach and George Crumb.

Education:

• Concert pianist training from Lviv National Music Academy (Ukraine), Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw (Poland), and Royal College of Music in Stockholm (KMH).
• PhD 2021: Stanislaw Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdansk (thesis on George Crumb’s Makrokosmos).
• Second PhD 2023: University of Bergen’s Grieg Academy (thesis on Bach’s WTC through Javorsky’s theory).

Her artistic work bridges classical traditions with contemporary interpretation, emphasizing Ukrainian musical heritage.
