Mateusz Maciołek

Mateusz Maciołek is a pianist and lecturer affiliated with the Faculty II – Instrumental at the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk. Born on September 22, 2000, he graduated from the Fryderyk Chopin Secondary School of Music in Opole and completed his master’s studies with distinction at the Gdańsk Academy. As an artist, he has performed internationally with orchestras such as the Opole Philharmonic Symphony and the Lviv Chamber Orchestra, appearing frequently on Polish radio programs. His awards include notable prizes in piano and chamber music competitions, scholarships from academic and national institutions, and the Mayor of Kluczbork Award. Since 2023, he has served as the organizational director of the International Music Course in Opole, contributing to music education and community engagement.

His research interests focus on piano performance, chamber music, and classical/romantic repertoire interpretation. He has participated in masterclasses under renowned artists like Andrzej Jasiński and Hortense Cartier-Bresson, further enriching his artistic expertise.
