Nataliia Laba is an Assistant Professor in Digital and Multimodal Communication at the Faculty of Arts, University of Groningen. With a PhD in Media Studies from the University of New South Wales (2023), her research intersects discourse studies, critical data studies, and science and technology studies, focusing on visual generative AI and human-machine agency. She has 9–10 years of teaching experience in the Netherlands, Australia, and Hong Kong.
