Dr. Natalie Silver is Senior Lecturer in Jurisprudence at the University of Sydney Law School. Her research focuses on charity law, not-for-profit governance, and tax policy, particularly cross-border philanthropy and contractual aspects of charitable giving.

Her work addresses regulatory barriers in philanthropy, including tax disincentives for international donations and modernization of charitable trusts. Dr. Silver has consulted for government agencies, including submissions to the Productivity Commission and Australian Charities Commission.
She teaches Contracts, Torts, and specialized courses on philanthropy law, and serves on committees for the Charity Law Association of Australia and New Zealand.
