Natalie Kertesz, PhD, BCC is a Professor in Religious Studies and Theological & Pastoral Studies at Ursuline College, a liberal arts institution in Pepper Pike, Ohio. Her work bridges theological foundations with contemporary issues in caregiving, gender, and family dynamics.

Research Interests focus on feminist theology, theology of suffering, and religion and violence, with a particular emphasis on integrating theological frameworks into modern caregiving practices and family structures.
Publications include four influential books: Marriage and Family: A Christian Theological Foundation (2009), Christian Thought and Practice: A Primer (2012), The Theology of Suffering and Death: An Introduction for Caregivers (2013), and the revised edition of Christian Thought and Practice (2015).
