Dr. Natalie Edmiston is a Senior Lecturer in Rural Research (Clinical and Educational) at Western Sydney University, based at the University Centre for Rural Health in Lismore, NSW. She concurrently serves NSW Health’s Education Centre Against Violence, delivering postgraduate training for healthcare professionals. As Rural Research Lead for WSU’s MD Projects, she ensures student research addresses regional community needs.
Her research spans:
- HIV and sexual health medicine
- Medical education and clinical training
- Workforce development in rural healthcare
- Sexual assault care accessibility
She holds:
- MPH from the University of New South Wales
- MBBS from the University of Sydney
