Natalie D. Eggum serves as Associate Professor and Director of The ECLIPSE Studies Lab at Arizona State University's T. Denny Sanford School of Social and Family Dynamics, conducting internationally focused research on child and adolescent social-emotional development.
Her educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology (2009), M.A. in Psychology (2006), and B.A. in Psychology (2003), all earned at Arizona State University.
Research centers on child social withdrawal, competence development, and adversity impacts through latent variable modeling of longitudinal data. Her work establishes measurement frameworks for social behaviors while examining cross-domain adaptation effects in diverse cultural contexts.
Funding comes from the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development and The Brady Education Foundation. She serves as Consulting Editor for Developmental Psychology and coordinates the Sanford School's Quantitative Methodology Group.

Teaches undergraduate Social Statistics and graduate courses including Latent Growth & Mixture Models.
