Natalia Oprea serves as a Research Fellow in the Government, Health and Not for Profit Division at SDA Bocconi School of Management, Bocconi University. Her academic foundation includes a Master's in Public Policies and Territorial Development from Deusto University and a PhD in Political Science from the University of Siena.
Her research centers on public service co-creation with specific expertise in patient engagement in healthcare, healthcare governance systems, and digital technology integration in public services. She actively contributes to major European research initiatives including Horizon2020 'Co-Val', Horizon Europe 'InGOV', and the 'ShareView' project focused on breast cancer care decision-making.
Her publication portfolio demonstrates consistent contributions to healthcare policy analysis, particularly through annual reports on the Italian Health System (Rapporto OASI). Research trends reveal deep specialization in shared decision-making frameworks and digital transformation challenges within public health systems across Europe.
