معرفی
Dr. Natalia Gerodetti is a Senior Lecturer in Sociology at Leeds Beckett University, affiliated with the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. Her research spans two major areas: historical governance of gender/sexuality and eugenics legacies, and urban food production linked to migration and identity. She investigates topics like coerced sterilization reparations, migrant food cultivation in Seoul, and neoliberal femininities. Her teaching includes courses on gender theory, sexuality, and social research methodologies. Collaborations include games-based pedagogy development.
Research Interests: Natalia’s work bridges historical injustices (e.g., eugenics in Switzerland) with contemporary urban food projects. She explores how food cultivation in cities like Seoul reflects migrant belonging and challenges urban space norms. Her feminist analyses address bisexuality, dating apps, and state policies affecting marginalized groups.
Teaching: Courses include Doing Sociology in Leeds, Sociology of Gender & Feminist Perspectives, and Men & Masculinities. She emphasizes innovative teaching methods.
