Natalia Aleksiun is the Harry Rich Professor of Holocaust Studies at the University of Florida. She teaches courses on the Holocaust and its aftermath, Eastern Europe, Jewish childhood, and the history of medicine. Aleksiun also serves as editor of East European Jewish Affairs.

Her research focuses on the history of Polish Jews, the Holocaust, and the intersection of Jewish communities with medical discourse in East Central Europe. She is completing a monograph on the 'Cadaver Affair' in interwar medical schools.
