Nasim A. Chowdhury

Nasim A. Chowdhury, M.D., is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Rehabilitation Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College and an Assistant Attending Physician at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. He specializes in musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation, with a focus on cancer rehabilitation and ultrasound-guided treatments.

• Education: B.A. in Medieval & Renaissance Studies, Biology, and Chemistry from New York University (2007); M.D. from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine (2010).

Dr. Chowdhury’s research spans musculoskeletal ultrasound, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy, and spasticity management. His clinical work integrates traditional therapies with nutritional and lifestyle interventions.

Recent publications highlight innovations in 3D-printed prosthetics for traumatic brain injury patients, cancer rehabilitation outcomes, and neurorehabilitation for degenerative diseases. He has been recognized as a Super Doctors New York Rising Star for excellence in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
