Nashwa Ismail

Dr. Nashwa Ismail is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Higher Education Research and Scholarship (CHERS) within Imperial College London's Central Faculty. She is also an Honorary Fellow at Durham University's School of Education and a Lecturer in Educational Technologies at the University of Liverpool.

Her research focuses on Generative AI applications for teaching and learning, Technology-Enhanced Learning (TEL), and Games-Based Learning (GBL). She specializes in qualitative methodologies, including Thematic and Phenomenological analysis using NVivo and Atlas.ti, and has led international workshops in the Global South on AI integration in academia.
