Naser M. Ammash

Naser M. Ammash, M.D. is a Professor of Medicine at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science and a Consultant in the Division of Structural Heart Disease and Cardiovascular Imaging. With over 150 peer-reviewed publications and 450 invited lectures globally, he specializes in adult congenital heart disease, atrial fibrillation, and echocardiography. His research focuses on stroke mechanisms in arrhythmia patients and ventricular function assessment.

Dr. Ammash leads the Heart Brain Clinic and has served on the American Board of Internal Medicine exam committees. His work has shaped clinical guidelines for adult congenital heart disease echocardiography and contributed to international consensus statements on Marfan syndrome management.
