Dr. Narine Yegoryan is a Postdoctoral Researcher in Quantitative Marketing at Humboldt University Berlin's Faculty of Business and Economics, specifically within the Institute of Marketing. She has been affiliated with the university since 2012, progressing from Student Assistant to her current research position, and is an active member of project A05 of the CRC Rationality and Competition funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) since 2017.

Dr. Yegoryan's research focuses on the intersection of quantitative marketing and behavioral economics, particularly examining consumer inattention and its impact on decision-making processes. Her work employs eye-tracking methodology to investigate how visual attention correlates with attribute processing in choice experiments, challenging traditional assumptions of full information processing in consumer choice models. She has made significant contributions to understanding attribute non-attendance patterns, demonstrating that consumers typically attend to only 3-4 out of 6 available attributes even for durable goods, with important implications for segmentation, targeting, and pricing strategies.
Her publication record shows a consistent focus on methodological advancements in choice modeling, with recent work examining how information transparency affects behavioral biases and consumer choices. Her research combines rigorous statistical modeling with behavioral insights to provide more accurate representations of consumer decision processes.
