Narbada Saini

Narbada Saini is an Associate Lecturer in Human Anatomy at La Trobe University, specializing in cardiovascular research and medical education. She holds a PhD in cardiovascular research from the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, India, alongside MSc and BSc degrees in Anatomy from Government Medical College, India. Her research focuses on inflammation's role in cardiac fibrosis and remodelling, particularly in cardiovascular diseases. Dr. Saini has extensive teaching experience across diverse medical disciplines, including dental sciences, physiotherapy, and biomedical sciences, covering topics like neuroanatomy, histology, and embryology.

She has authored 10 research articles in journals such as Cardiovascular Research and contributed a chapter to Bergman’s Encyclopedia of Anatomic Variations. Her work explores mechanisms of hypertension, renal pathology, and age-related changes in cardiac and ocular tissues. Dr. Saini is actively involved in collaborations via ResearchGate and X (Twitter).
