Naomi Gjevre, DMA, is an Adjunct Professor of Violin at Sam Houston State University's School of Music. She specializes in teaching violin, chamber music, string pedagogy, and string methods. A distinguished performer and scholar, Dr. Gjevre co-founded the Lindsayan String Quartet (with residencies) and serves in the Kolonneh String Quartet. Her career spans teaching roles at the University of Wyoming, Midland College, Odessa College, Western Kentucky University, and Florida State University, where she was a teaching assistant.
