Nandini Lahiri is an Associate Professor of Management at the Kogod School of Business, American University. Her research focuses on strategy, international business, and technology, examining how firms' geographic and vertical scopes influence alliances, R&D, and innovation. She serves on the editorial boards of the Journal of International Business Studies and Global Strategy Journal. Her work has been recognized with the Business Policy and Strategy Best Dissertation Award from the Academy of Management.
Education includes a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Michigan, a Master's in International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, and a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering from Jadavpur University.
Her teaching includes courses such as Strategic Decision Making and Global Strategy in the MBA program at Kogod. Recent research explores topics like international exposure's impact on R&D, renewable energy project completion in emerging markets, and responses to economic shocks from an organizational fit perspective.
