Dr. Nandini Deshpande is an Associate Professor (currently on leave) at Queen's University, affiliated with the School of Rehabilitation Therapy within the Faculty of Health Sciences. Her research focuses on vestibular and somatosensory functions, sensory integration, and their impact on postural control in aging populations and individuals with diabetes. She holds cross-appointments at the Queen's University Centre for Neuroscience Studies and is a member of professional organizations including the Society for Neuroscience and the Gerontological Society of America.
- Education: PhD (Kinesiology, 2005, University of Waterloo), MSc (Rehabilitation Science, 2001, Queen's University), BSc (Physical Therapy).

Her work emphasizes understanding factors affecting mobility in older adults, particularly fear of falling and the physiological changes linked to aging and chronic conditions like diabetes. She is currently not accepting graduate students.
