Nandi Theunissen is an Associate Professor in the Department of Philosophy at Rice University, joining in 2024 from the University of Pittsburgh where she held the same position. Her research focuses on ethics, metaethics, Kantian moral philosophy, and ancient philosophy. She investigates relational theories of value, particularly the idea that 'good is good for someone,' challenging traditional frameworks like Kantianism and Moorean perfectionism.
