Nancy Wood

Dr. Nancy Wood is an Assistant Professor of Career Development in the Humanities/General Education Department at Beacon College. She holds a Ph.D. in Human Services-Healthcare Administration from Capella University, an M.H.R.M. in Human Resource Management, an M.B.A., and an M.S.W. from Saint Leo University.

Her research focuses on neurodiversity, career development strategies, nonprofit leadership, and student-centered teaching methods. She has contributed to publications and conferences on mental health advocacy, nonprofit marketing, and interdisciplinary service-animal therapies.

Dr. Wood’s work emphasizes practical applications of academic research, bridging gaps between theoretical frameworks and real-world challenges in healthcare and education sectors.
