Nancy Spina is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Education at Cape Breton University, situated in Mi’kma’ki—the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaw People. Her role emphasizes teaching, research, and engagement with Indigenous perspectives in education.
