Nancy S. Reau

Nancy S. Reau, MD is a Professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at Rush Medical College, specializing in Hepatology. She holds the Richard B. Capps, MD Chair of Hepatology and serves as Section Chief of Hepatology and Associate Director of Solid Organ Transplantation at Rush University Medical Center. Her clinical expertise focuses on liver disease management, including hepatitis, fatty liver disease, and liver transplantation. Dr. Reau completed her medical training at Ohio State University College of Medicine and fellowships in Gastroenterology at Johns Hopkins and Ohio State University.

Her research interests include liver disease in pregnancy, autoimmune hepatitis, and innovative therapies for chronic liver conditions. She has contributed to major clinical guidelines such as the ACG Clinical Guideline on Liver Disease and Pregnancy.
