Nancy Rotering

Nancy Rotering is an Adjunct Lecturer in Social Policy at Northwestern University’s School of Education and Social Policy (SESP) and the first woman elected Mayor of Highland Park, Illinois. She has reformed city governance, emphasizing transparency and ethics. Her legal career spans over 30 years, with degrees from Stanford University (BA in Economics), Northwestern University (MBA), and the University of Chicago Law School.

She actively participates in governance bodies like the Metropolitan Mayors Caucus, U.S. Conference of Mayors, and Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning. She previously chaired the Northwest Municipal Conference.
