Nancy M. Lorenzon is a Teaching Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Denver, within the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. She also serves as Director of Pre-Health Education & Advising and Director of the Professional Sciences Master’s program in Biomedical Sciences, playing a key role in shaping health and biomedical education at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
Her educational background includes a Ph.D. in Anatomy & Neurobiology from the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center (1994) and a B.S. in Animal Behavior from Bucknell University (1988).
Dr. Lorenzon's research and teaching focus on interdisciplinary areas at the intersection of biology and health, including:
