Nancy Dumais is a full-time Professor in the Department of Biology at the University of Sherbrooke and serves as Vice-Dean of Studies. Her research focuses on immunomodulatory roles of prostaglandins, particularly in HIV-1 interactions and immune system regulation.

Her laboratory investigates prostaglandins' impact on:
- HIV-1 dissemination
- Mucosal immunity
- Monocyte-based drug delivery systems
- Cellular migration mechanisms
Recent publications highlight her work on prostaglandin signaling in immune cells and HIV-related pathophysiology, alongside pedagogical studies in science education.
