Nancy Beckerman, Ph.D., DSW, is a Professor at Yeshiva University's Wurzweiler School of Social Work, where she has served on the faculty for 26 years. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with expertise in trauma-informed therapy, medical social work, HIV-AIDS, and family therapy, and has published extensively in these areas. Professor Beckerman chairs advanced clinical practice courses, teaches family systems and trauma-informed therapy, and provides practicum advisement.
- Prior Experience: 15 years of clinical work at Mount Sinai Medical Center and the Gay Men’s Health Center
- Leadership: Former interim dean at the Wurzweiler School of Social Work
