Nancy B. Grimm is a Regents Professor and Virginia M. Ullman Professor of Ecology in the School of Life Sciences at Arizona State University (ASU). She is a Distinguished Sustainability Scientist and a Special Advisor to the Director for Charter Initiatives. Her affiliations include the Center for Biodiversity Outcomes, Central Arizona-Phoenix Long Term Ecological Research (CAP LTER), Earth Systems Science for the Anthropocene (ESSA), Water Institute, and Global Drylands Center. She co-directs the international network NATURA and has held leadership roles in NSF-funded research networks addressing urban resilience and sustainability.
