Nancy Adams, MLIS, EdD, is an Associate Librarian at the Harrell Health Sciences Library in Hershey, Pennsylvania. She is affiliated with the College of Medicine at Pennsylvania State University. Her work focuses on advancing medical education through health humanities, evidence-based practices, and the integration of arts and humanities into curricula. Dr. Adams has received recognition for her contributions, including the Dean's Award for Excellence in Teaching in both 2023 and 2024.
Her research interests include medical student development, social justice in education, and the role of librarians in healthcare. She has authored multiple peer-reviewed articles on topics such as curriculum reform, student perceptions of argumentation-based learning, and the application of arts/humanities frameworks in medical training.
