David Ingram is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine Division of Infectious Diseases at Penn State College of Medicine, where he has been faculty since July 2021. He is also the Associate Program Director for the Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center Infectious Diseases Fellowship. His roles include clinical consultation, medical education leadership, and research focused on tick-borne diseases such as babesiosis and anaplasmosis.

Research interests include improving medical education, investigating clinical outcomes of tick-borne infections, and leading multi-site studies on immune responses in babesiosis. Received the Dean's Award for Excellence in Teaching in 2023 and 2024. His publications explore anaplasmosis epidemiology, corticosteroid efficacy in COVID-19 treatment, and babesiosis trends in Pennsylvania.
