Dr. Najam Ul Hasan is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Computing, Sheffield Hallam University. He holds a PhD in Information and Communication Engineering from Sejong University (2014), and prior roles included Assistant and Associate Professor at Dhofar University (2015–2020). His expertise spans IoT, 5G/6G networks, mobile edge computing, and machine learning, with applications in smart cities, disaster management, and healthcare. He has authored over 40 Web of Science-indexed papers and 25 IEEE conference papers, with 1,100+ citations (h-index 18). Awards include IEEE Senior Member and Fellow of Advance HE.
