Naixin Fan

Naixin Fan is a Doctoral Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Biogeochemistry in Jena, Germany. Their research focuses on environmental controls on ecosystem carbon turnover times, global temperature sensitivity of the carbon cycle, and vegetation dynamics. They hold a Ph.D. candidature at the Max Planck Institute (2016–present), an M.S. in Earth Sciences from Dartmouth College (2013–2015), and a Bachelor’s in Atmospheric Sciences from Nanjing University (2009–2013).
